What better way to kick off a wedding weekend on the "night before" the big day than creating a warm and inviting space to welcome your loved ones in a more intimate setting. The Kitchen is nestled right on the cusp of downtown Columbus, Ohio and historic German Village. It's the perfect space for a rehearsal dinner or welcome party with all the modern and cozy good vibes!

Jack and Sarah seemed so relaxed and truly enjoying the evening among each other and their loved ones. It really made it so easy to capture so many sweet and candid moments with a true documentary approach.

I LOVE a beautifully handcrafted invitation, especialy letterpress on gorgeous handmade paper. These wax seals with dried florals were perfection too!

All the exposed brick and warm wood tones give this venue the best vibes and set the relaxed and elevated tone for the event.
Simple white florals and greenery accented by tealights created such a calming and intimate atmosphere.

Sometimes the simplest and most understated details created with intention can make such a huge impact on the overall design of the space.

When I document any event, especially one that is as personal as a wedding, I want to capture the spirit of the event which includes details, but more importantly the people. My hope is to create images that reflect that snapshot in your mind of what the event looked and felt like.

After some cocktails and mingling, guests gathered for an interactive dinner prep with the expert chefs from The Kitchen. If you know anything about The Kitchen, then you probably know they are known for their exceptional food. This was such a fun and unique way to share time with their guests.

After some dinner prep of meatballs and homemade pasta, guests found their seats among the two long tuscan style tables and continued with cocktails and some heartfelt toasts.

I always enjoy photographing the toasts at a wedding or rehearsal dinner event because it provides a nice opportunity to capture sthe genuine emotion of the moments and take my clients back to how they felt in most moments.

Cheers to Sarah and Jack and their happily ever after!
