I loved everything about this beautiful and laid-back early fall wedding at one of my favorite venues in the Columbus, Ohio area, Brookside Golf and Country Club in Worthington. The details were simple and elegant with just a touch of rustic charm.
Brookside offers a nice pretty space for brides and their wedding day crew to hang out and get ready.
A girl’s gotta have her besties with her on the big day!
Can’t forgot about the groom either!
Love this shot of Sarah right before she heads out to go see her guy for their first look under the willow trees!
Such a perfect spot for a quiet and private moment for their first look.
Could the sun shining through the top of this huge willow tree be any more perfect?
Let’s talk about these florals for a minute. For starters, this color palette is fall perfection! The dark reds, burgundy and pale pinks work so well together.
I just love the back of Sarah’s gown too. Sleek, elegant and sophisticated.
Brookside has a seemingly unending number of awesome places to create stunning portraits.
My favorites though are almost always the little moments between the posed portraits.
Happy wedding day crew!
These raspberry colored dresses were beautiful with the classic gray suits and lush bouquets by Flowerman Columbus.
This crew truly brought the party! It’s all fun and games when an awesome couple gets hitched!
Have I mentioned yet how much I loved the flowers?
The floral crowns for the flower girls turned out perfect as well.
This gorgeous rustic handmade wooden sign greeted guests as they arrived for the ceremony under the huge oak tree.
I love this shot of the groom and his parents. They couldn’t be happier or more proud!
The bride and her father smiling as they get ready to walk down the aisle!
A tearful and happy mama about to watch her son get married!
This might be one of my favorite images from the day. The bride looks so genuinely happy and relaxed as her father looks on, she’s got her eye on her future husband!
What a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding!
You may kiss your bride!
Could these parents be any happier for their kids? I love this moment and all their expressions.
A job well done, flower girls!
Now it’s time to party!
I think this gang is ready to party!
More beautiful rustic wedding details.
I love this playful take on the classic bride and groom cake topper.
As a photographer, I always enjoy shooting the toasts as they kick off the reception and create opportunity for some natural expressions in the moment.
Time to cut the cake! I love the “high five” bride and groom cake topper!
Time to step out for a few quiet sunset portraits!
The golden light sparkling through the trees in the distance is so pretty! Again, Brookside is so full of gorgeous backdrops.
There was no shortage of guests busting a move on the dance floor. Way to go Chris Ortleib of Premier Entertainment! It was full ALL NIGHT LONG!
And I can’t imagine a better image to end the day! Congrats again to Seth and Sarah for trusting me with your amazing heartfelt and fun day!
